The level of professionalism and service given to my finance and I was impeccable. I had an extremely difficult task when it came to choosing a photographer for my engagement photo shoot, but I am fortunate to have found the perfect match for us with Lopes & Lopes. I cannot thank you enough for the exceptional service, creativity and kindness bestowed upon us. You captured my finance genuinely smiling (he rarely smiles in photos) and made us both feel comfortable at the studio. The editing and quality of the pictures were proficient and breathtaking. Lopes & Lopes captured our love perfectly and naturally on film and we can’t wait to see you guys at our wedding!

Lopes & Lopes did an amazing job with the photography and videography for our wedding in March 2008. Actually, it started even before the wedding day, with a photo shoot that we did on the same day of my make-up trial. Brian and Petra were kind enough to give me several references for make-up artistes - one advantage of having been in the business for some time is that they had a wide network of colleagues and partners that we could tap into. Lopes & Lopes put together a mosiac of pictures from the photo-shoot, which they custom-framed beautifully, and this is what we mounted at the wedding reception for guests to sign. Many of our guests commented on how unique the mosiac was, compared to the single photos which are more commonly used. On the day of the wedding, the Lopes & Lopes crew impressed us thoroughly with their punctuality, professionalism and friendliness. They brought unique ideas to the job, but were also interested in knowing what we liked and wanted, and tried to incorporate these as far as possible. The photo-shoot done at my home, before we left for the church, was fun and whimsical. Lopes & Lopes captured in photo and video, all the emotions that were resident at my home that day. The videography at the church was orchestrated perfectly. The crew moved between various locations as needed to capture all the important moments, without being disruptive or conspicuous. The photos taken at San Fernando Hill, where we held the reception, were alive and emotive, and captured the essence of my husband and me. We have fond memories of when the Lopes & Lopes camera crew overtook our limo as we approached the top of San Fernando Hill to take photos of us climbing through the sun-roof to wave hello to our friends and relatives. This an example of how they ensured that the most special moments of our wedding day were captured, for us to enjoy for many years to come. The wedding DVD that was produced by Lopes & Lopes surpassed our expectations. It was done like a "real movie" with chapters, credits, music and a DVD jacket with scenes from the wedding and exerpts from the program which we shared with our guests. The music selections were beautiful and appropriate, and they incorporated music that we requested or in other cases, pieces that were actually used at the wedding. One of my favorite parts of the DVD was the interview segment at the end - the Lopes & Lopes camera crew had approached many of our guests and invited them to record their wishes to us. They then did an interview with my husband and I, separately, then together, which allowed us to express our appreciation to the persons who were instrumental in our lives and in the planning of our wedding. I recently learnt just how special the interview segment of the DVD was to me, when my grandmom passed away, and I was able to go back to the video and see and hear her say how much she loved us. This is the value to having one's special occasions in life recorded authentically, by film or video, and Lopes & Lopes did this for my husband and me on our wedding day.
